Our in house curriculum ‘Teaching for Mastery’ is a unique curriculum trademarked for use exclusively within our A-star Tuition centre. Developed by our Postgraduate Teacher of Mathematics & founder of A-star Tuition, the curriculum content is taught collaboratively through 3 key members of staff:
- Mrs Neelam – Specialist Mathematics degree holder
- Mrs Aneesa – Specialist Science degree holder
- Miss Rimsha – Specialist Primary SEN Teacher
With the backing of our unique Mastery curriculum, each child is guided through the content required for each key stage consisting of but not limited to;
- Grammar, punctuation and spelling
- Short writing tasks
- Long writing tasks
- Developing writer skills

- Problem solving in context
- Manipulation
Our aim is to progress each child at their own pace and to ensure they are able to meet the national curriculum requirements for each key stage. The majority of our students do excel greater than the minimum expected threshold and we are extremely proud of our students achievements
We are a well resources tutoring centre with a teaching and learning delivery method second to none. Our subject specialist teachers ensure each and every primary child is mentored, their progress tracked and that they gain a secure knowledge of our primary curriculum.
You only have to walk into our primary classrooms to appreciate the high expectations, positive behaviour and progress we promote for our learners.
